Air Conditioning F Gas Inspections

From July 2007 the "F-Gas Regulations" took effect.

This applies to the following air conditioning systems: Systems with 3kg and above of fluorinated gases need to be checked for leaks at least every 12 months Systems with 30kg and above of fluorinated gases need to be checked for leaks at least every 6 months Regulations also require that those carrying out work with refrigerants are required to hold a safe handling certificate. It is now a requirement that any waste refrigerant gases that have been removed from an air conditioning system are disposed in a safe manner by a registered waste carrier.
