Boiler Room Check List

  • Remove all flammable materials from the room or compartment. why?
  • Keep the room well lit and clear. why?
  • Keep all ventilation grilles clear. why?
  • Keep the front casing to the boiler in place. why?
  • Keep the door locked shut. why?
  • Regularly inspect the above items. why?
  • Locate your gas meter and ensure that it is accessible. why?
  • Know where to turn your gas off in an emergency. why?
  • Check that the boiler is regularly serviced. why?
  • Arrange to have a Gas Safety check carried out. why?
