Gas Safety Check

This is an example of the sort of things that will be checked on a Gas Safety Check. The list is not exhaustive and much will depend on the type of installation and appliances that you have.
  • Check for gas leaks.
  • Correct operation of appliances.
  • Appliances installed correctly.
  • Appliance flues performing correctly and is not spilling dangerous carbon monoxide fumes.
  • The gas is correctly metered and regulated.
  • The condition of the installation pipework.
  • The correct air supply is available to the appliance.

  • The appliance is burning correctly and not allowing excessive un-burnt gases to enter into the environment.
